Tourist taxes

As a second-home owner living outside the commune of Leytron, you are subject to a compulsory flat-rate tourist tax. All owners who choose to rent out their property must also pay a flat-rate accommodation tax.
The Commune of Leytron charges these two taxes as a lump sum.

Your tenants are also subject to tourist tax. You are responsible for registering your tenants for tourist tax.

The tourist tax for guests is CHF 3.20 per person per night, with a reduction of CHF 1.60 for children aged between 6 and 16. Children aged 5 and under are exempt. You can collect this tax or ask your guests to pay it directly to the tourist office.

By complying with these obligations, you are also contributing to the development and improvement of Ovronnaz's tourist infrastructure!

When an owner rents out his chalet or flat, he is obliged to inform his guests about the tourist tax. The owner pays the amount of tourist tax collected directly to the tourist office. The accommodation tax will then be invoiced. Guests can also pay the tourist tax directly by registering with the tourist office for each stay.

If you prefer to let your property professionally, the agencies Interhome-Eurolocation or Ça va l'chalet are at your disposal.
